เรื่องที่ 1 Application of Digital Cyber security Approaches to University Management--VFU SMART STUDENT
ABSTRACT
This paper suggests digital approaches in university management. Digital transformation requires leadership that can maintain and balance competing interests from faculty, administrators, students and others. The team of Varna Free University designed a flexible proper solution VFU SMART STUDENT aiming at lower operating costs and better performance is application of cloud technologies. It is a web-based information system for provision of e-services to VFU students, which provides comprehensive information about the student from their enrolment until their graduation. Network monitoring system is used to make the transition easier, and to improve network effectiveness. Security policy, procedures and guidelines are adopted to guarantee seamless operating of networks and systems.
บทความนี้จะแนะนำแนวทางดิจิทัลในการจัดการมหาวิทยาลัย การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางดิจิทัลจำเป็นต้องมีความเป็นผู้นำที่สามารถรักษาและสร้างสมดุลระหว่างความสนใจที่แข่งขันกับคณาจารย์ ผู้บริหาร นักศึกษา และคนอื่นๆ ทีมงานของ Varna Free University ได้ออกแบบโซลูชันที่เหมาะสมและยืดหยุ่น VFU SMART STUDENT โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อลดต้นทุนการดำเนินงานและประสิทธิภาพที่ดีขึ้นคือการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีคลาวด์ เป็นระบบข้อมูลบนเว็บสำหรับการจัดหา e-services ให้กับนักศึกษา VFU ซึ่งให้ข้อมูลที่ครอบคลุมเกี่ยวกับนักศึกษาตั้งแต่การลงทะเบียนเรียนจนถึงสำเร็จการศึกษา ระบบตรวจสอบเครือข่ายใช้เพื่อทำให้การเปลี่ยนแปลงง่ายขึ้นและเพื่อปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพของเครือข่าย นโยบายการรักษาความปลอดภัย ขั้นตอนและแนวทางปฏิบัติถูกนำมาใช้เพื่อรับประกันการทำงานที่ราบรื่นของเครือข่ายและระบบ

เรื่องที่ 2 School Principal Interns’ Perceived Level of Preparedness for Technology Leadership
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to explore differences in perceived level of technology leadership preparation for students of three different online graduate level leadership preparation programs offered at a regional university in southeast Texas. Four hundred seventy-one students responded to the Principal Technology Leadership Assessment (PTLA) survey and three open-response questions asking students which activities they found beneficial, what they would change, and what they would add to program content related to understanding the International Society for Technology (ISTE) Education Standards for Administrators – Visionary Leadership, Digital Age Learning Culture, Excellence in Professional Practice, Systemic Improvement, and Digital Citizenship (ISTE, 2014, 2018). Study findings indicated there was no statistically significant relationship between the items in each domain and the type of program in which respondents participated. Additionally, there was no statistically significant difference between programs and their performance in two of the five domains: Preparedness to Create a Digital Learning Culture and Digital Citizenship. Additionally, student responses to the three open-response type questions indicated suggestions that may be of interest to Educational Preparation Programs (EPP) concerned with meeting current technology instructional practices as part of an administrative degree or certificate program.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyses the way leadership and digital technology usage affect the faculty members’ research performance in surviving higher education sustainability during the COVID-19 pandemic. A breakthrough innovation is needed to design a fast-track online work management system. Hence, it requires a loyal contribution from all the faculty members to support this system. This quantitative study conducted in Malaysia and Indonesia, included 260 faculty members from various fields of studies. Using the online questionnaire, it shows that leadership and technology usage plays an important role to maintain faculty members’ research performance during the pandemic. However, it has a slight difference in result between Malaysia and Indonesia in terms of the portion of leadership and digital technology that affected the research performance. The higher education leaders play a stronger role in affecting Malaysian faculty members’ research performance, while Indonesian faculty members are influenced more by digital technology usage than by their leaders. Each of them has a significant implication in designing the effective institution policies in optimizing faculty members’ research performance.
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์วิธีที่ความเป็นผู้นำและการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลส่งผลต่อผลการวิจัยของคณาจารย์ในการเอาชีวิตรอดอย่างยั่งยืนในการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาในช่วงการระบาดของโควิด-19 จำเป็นต้องมีนวัตกรรมที่ล้ำหน้าในการออกแบบระบบการจัดการงานออนไลน์แบบรวดเร็ว จึงต้องอาศัยความทุ่มเทจากคณาจารย์ทุกคนในการสนับสนุนระบบนี้ การศึกษาเชิงปริมาณนี้ดำเนินการในประเทศมาเลเซียและอินโดนีเซีย รวมอาจารย์ 260 คนจากสาขาวิชาต่างๆ การใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์แสดงให้เห็นว่าความเป็นผู้นำและการใช้เทคโนโลยีมีบทบาทสำคัญในการรักษาผลการวิจัยของคณาจารย์ในช่วงการระบาดใหญ่ อย่างไรก็ตาม ผลการวิจัยระหว่างมาเลเซียและอินโดนีเซียมีความแตกต่างกันเล็กน้อยในแง่ของความเป็นผู้นำและเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลที่ส่งผลต่อผลการวิจัย ผู้นำการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษามีบทบาทมากขึ้นในการส่งผลกระทบต่อผลการวิจัยของคณาจารย์ชาวมาเลเซีย ในขณะที่คณาจารย์ในชาวอินโดนีเซียได้รับอิทธิพลจากการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลมากกว่าผู้นำ แต่ละคนมีนัยสำคัญในการออกแบบนโยบายสถาบันที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการวิจัยของคณาจารย์

The impact of digital leadership on teachers’ technology integration during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kuwait
Abstract
When the education system was overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic, school principals had to take on the mantle of digital literacy by ensuring that teachers and learners attained and utilized digital tools and platforms. This study aims to explore the impact of digital leadership among school principals on teachers’ technology integration during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kuwait. This quantitative study used two surveys, the Principal Technology Leadership Assessment, and the Teacher Technology Integration Survey. The sample consisted of 113 school principals and 404 teachers from public elementary schools in Kuwait. The study revealed that digital leadership among school principals had a positive impact on teachers’ technology integration during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussion and implications for policymakers, The impact of digital leadership on teachers’ technology integration during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kuwait school principals, and future research are introduced.
